Limited Edition - Kenyan Safari Half Caf - Don't Use
Sweet and bright, with notes of brown sugar, red wine and a bright grapefruit finish
A blend of beautiful Kenyan coffees from the central Mt. Kenya region, with all of the flavor, half of the caffeine. This unique Kenyan half caf is fruity, bright and sweet, with syrupy notes of brown sugar, hints of red wine and a bright grapefruit finish. Coffee with hints of wine? It may be surprising, but it is a rich, complex flavor note characteristic of certain high quality Kenyan coffees.
PRE-ORDER: First Roast Date - January 13
Nature-lovers, unwinding with friends, or an afternoon adventure
Why We Love It
We are thrilled to create this half caf blend of all excellent Kenyan coffees. Kenya is a beautiful country with fantastic coffees, which are almost never decaffeinated. On the Kenyan part of our coffee journey, we loved tasting fruity and winey coffees. And of course we had to take a couple days out from coffee tasting to enjoy the incredible Kenyan nature on a safari. Being on a safari brings a beautiful combination of adventurous excitement and quiet peacefulness. A balance of boost and calm embodied in this unique coffee.
About The Growers
One of the coffees was grown by a larger farmer, Robin Muriuki. The others were grown by small-scale farmers in and around the Mt Kenya Region who are a part of three Farmers Cooperative Societies.
