Ethiopian Love Story - Swiss Water Decaf
Fall in love with decaf! This medium roast combines the bold taste of mixed berries with sweet notes of dried fruit to produce a harmonious brew that you’re sure to fall for. It is a single-origin decaf was grown by a single farmer and his family in the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia and naturally decaffeinated through the Swiss Water process. It’s a rare decaf “natural”, meaning that the coffee was dried with the fruit on rather than washed off.
Those who like dessert before dinner, bookworms, nature lovers, and the days you just need a change
Why We Love It
Named for the country that CEO Kait Brown and her now-husband, Daniel, got engaged in, Ethiopian Love Story is a testament to the power of love. Whether it’s love for a person, love for a coffee or love for life, it’s a common bond between us all that inspires us to take action. This coffee, just like the rest of our decafs, is made with love.
About The Grower
Organically grown by a single-farmer in Yirgacheffe, Gelgelu Edemi, the farmer is 70 years-old and has used his coffee income to raise and send his 11 children to university.
What Our Customers Think
"I made what I considered a good pour over at home. [My wife] never loved it, but tolerated it. That was until the Ethiopian arrived. Now she drinks it 2-3 times a day, so I just ordered 6 more bags."

I've been needing to quit caffeine for a while now due to health issues, but living in a city with an exquisite coffee scene has given me a palate that most decaf coffees just can't live up to. The hunt for a cup of decaf that has all the nuance and flavor profiles of the "real" stuff has been long and painful, but I'm now so happy to say that Savorista's Ethiopian Love Story has saved the day! It's so creamy and smooth- I no longer feel like I'm missing out. Makes a great pour-over too, and fills the house with a wonderfully sweet aroma. I'm now a life-long customer!
Really enjoyed Ethiopian Love Story. Flavorful and satisfying. The only down side is the price, especially given that one gets less coffee per package than usual. It also has an odd aroma--my wife swore it smelled like weed in the house when we were brewing it!
Smooth and super tasty
It is great.
Tastes sweet and delightful. Will be trying other flavors when I finish this bag :)
